Don't you just hate it when you go someplace and forget your camera! Luckily I had my phone with me...not the best pictures but it will have to do this time! We had a fun afternoon once we finally got there!! We still haven't mastered getting all packed up for an afternoon at the lake. It took us longer to get there than the time we actually spent on the water. The boys had a blast! We had a fun time just watching them. I can't believe July is almost here! Hope everyone is having a fun summer...

I sent McKenzee a message while we were in Cancun and she responded back saying that Keegen really missed me and he wanted to come see me in Mexico...it made me sad. I told her to tell him that I would be home in a couple of days and I would bring him a T-shirt. He said NO...he wanted a Spiderman costume! I laughed and told McKenzee...I'm in Mexico...there is no way I'll find a Spiderman costume! But guess what...Spiderman 1 & 2 it is!!! I couldn't believe it when I ran across these at the Mexican Market! The boys were so excited and kept them on for a long long time!! It was so fun to see them so happy about a simple gift!! I got them some Mexican Sombrero's too but...they barely looked at them!
And for myself...A BATHROOM SINK for my new house!! Mike thought I was CRAZY for wanting to take this back home with me! It was almost the highlight (next to the wedding of course...Keesha) of my trip! It was interesting packing it on the plane as our "carry on" to get it home!! But I'm SO excited about it!! You should have seen us going through security and custom's with it! It got some good laughs!! It made it home in one piece!!
We had a wonderful time and lots of great memories! Family...isn't it the greatest!! Glad I have mine!

Brock & Keegs
Brock was mowing yesterday and came by to ask me if I still had those "do-rags" because he was sweating so much that he needed one for his eyes! I said well, I think so so I started digging! Remember we've moved several times since then. Got me to thinking when the kids (Brock & McKenzee) were little they would tell me to put them on them all the time. Brock is all grown up now with a baby of his own. And Keegen belongs to McKenzee. It was fun to think back to when they were little!! So of course...I had to take a picture!! Keegen thought it was so fun and when he went to bed he asked me if he could wear it to church tomorrow!! :) I told him that probably wouldn't be a good idea so he said OK...then can I take my superman toy with me! I told him that would work!

I got to babysit for a while last night while Brock & Molli went on a bike ride! Molli knew there would probably be a phone shoot while she was gone so she put her in this cute outfit just in case! She was right!! A 3 1/2 week old doesn't really like to ham it up for the camera yet so we just had to keep snapping until we got several!! I know she's mine but...isn't she a sweetie!!

I'm a real cool dude!
Mommy...can we pleeeease have one of these??
How sweet it is to be loved by you!!
I'm really needing a visit with my Middle Grandchild Preston!! They live an hour and a half away and we don't get to see them as much! He's at the age that when I call on the phone...he wants nothing to do with me! I don't take it personal...in a year or so (hopefully) that will change again! I remember, not very long ago, I would talk to him on the phone and he would jabber forever!! It was when he was first talking and you could barely understand what he was saying! He's getting ready to be 3! They grow up sooooo fast!! Before long we'll be going to watch him play football or basketball or baseball or all of them!! I can't wait! I may not always understand the sport...but, I'll definitely know his number and you can bet your bottom I'll be watching and rooting for my grandson's number! It's almost like no one else is playing! Only my player!! Mike makes fun of me for this! He has to remind me that I should watch the team...not just the "player"! It was that way with my kids and I'm sure it will be even worse with my Grandkids!! They are amazing! People tell you that but until you really experience it you have NO idea what they are talking about!!
MiMi loves and misses you Preston!!
