*Amy’s Peach Cobbler*
8-10 fresh peaches (sliced)
{can
use frozen if desperate}
1 c. sugar
¼ c. brown
sugar
Pinch (or peench as we say where I come
from) of salt
1 tsp. almond extract
3 heaping T. Flour
*Mix all together and put in the bottom of a greased 9x13 pan.
*Dot the top with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.
~Crumb Topping~
1 ½ c. flour
Pinch/peench of salt
¾ c. sugar
1 tsp. almond extract
¾ c. butter (1 ½ sticks)
{butter slightly softened, place on the
counter when you begin (no more)}
*Work together with a pastry blender.
*Then sprinkle crumb topping (with hands) over peaches
squeezing and making “crumbs” as you go!
Bake at 375° til browned (45 min.)…
laying a piece of foil over the top the
last 10 min. of baking
to keep crumbs from burning!
Enjoy…you’ll want to thank me after you take your first
bite!!
