~Sera's Caring Place~ ...the rest of the story

It was kind of mean of me to leave you in suspense for so long with my last post of Yours~Mine~& Theirs “sneak peek”  but we weren’t quite ready to reveal our my Mom’s idea.  The day has finally come to share with you what we’re up to…

My Mom and I have decided to help out Sera’s Caring Place.  {Go read her story by clicking on her name.  You may need to grab a box of tissue!} (please note: The donation button that is on Sera’s site is not our button so if you donate there we won’t have a way of knowing where to send your gift to…so come back here to donate and get your gift)

We can’t do this alone!  We need your help!  You are welcome to donate any amount you wish BUT with at least a $20.00 donation we will send you a necklace made with a Ugandan coin {crafted by my amazing Mom}.  Necklaces may vary depending on coin availability.  Every time you put it on to wear it it could be a little reminder to say a prayer for Sera and her boys.  All proceeds go to Sera’s Caring Place.
Please specify 18” with jewels OR 20” with coin only
You can donate to her “place” by clicking on the donate button here:

(or by clicking in the top right hand corner of my blog)

Thank you so much in advance and if you have any questions AT ALL…please don’t hesitate to message me and ask.

We would also like to THANK Paul Hunter for getting the coins to us!  We couldn’t have done it without you Paul!

  2. Amy, I am so excited that you and your mom are helping Sera! I hate it that you haven't got to meet her in person, but she is trying to get her Visa to come with Paul and Pam to the States when they come and then you will get to spend some time with this wonderful young lady when they come to Fairview in October!! She is amazing!!! I love her so much! If you run out of coins, I have a few I would donate for the cause!

  4. Amy, I'm catching up on things today and read your blog. What a great ministry you are involved in for Sera and her Caring Place. If there is anything you want us to take/bring, let us know. We can take 16 containers of supplies over and will certainly allow room for anything you want to send, just let me know. Pat
