New Look...

Saturday was a productive day for us! We're still waiting on the shutters for the front of the house but I think that will happen Wednesday! We got tons done...most boxes put away...things hung on some walls...ready for a cook-out tonight! Makin' Shish-Ka-Bobs and Strawberry cake!!! Who needs more than that?

We're Moved In & Fire pit almost complete for Summer!

Can't wait to relax and enjoy cooking out and lighting up the fire pit!

WOO HOO...Carpet is done!!!! We are SO close now! Any volunteers to come help me clean up all the dust and dirt?????? It's a MESS!! Just look at that dust on the staircase!! Baseboards look the same! Can't wait to move in!

Floor Stain Reveal...

WOW...things are moving along so fast now! If the warm weather would hurry up and get here and STAY...we could get moved in soon!!!

I met the floor stain crew at the house at 8:00am. We picked out a color from the samples they did last night and they got started! They called me at 10:40am to come take a peak to see if I liked it before they put the sealer on! I LOVED IT!!! Can't wait to see the finished look!!!

Well one more project on the house complete! I LOVE IT!! Better than I ever dreamed it could be!! Too bad I won't get to use it until next year! Oh well...those cold winds can stay away!! I'll just burn candles in it if I want the "fireplace" effect!

Stain reveal...

Well, it's all starting to look like a home!! LOVIN' my stain color!! It doesn't have the varnish/laquer/top coat on it yet...BUT...I'm really liking it! I know I'll love it even more with a little bit of sheen on it! I've been seeing it later in the evening when it was darker outside and all I could think was how dark it is! Today...I LOVE it!!
