I'm really needing a visit with my Middle Grandchild Preston!! They live an hour and a half away and we don't get to see them as much! He's at the age that when I call on the phone...he wants nothing to do with me! I don't take it personal...in a year or so (hopefully) that will change again! I remember, not very long ago, I would talk to him on the phone and he would jabber forever!! It was when he was first talking and you could barely understand what he was saying! He's getting ready to be 3! They grow up sooooo fast!! Before long we'll be going to watch him play football or basketball or baseball or all of them!! I can't wait! I may not always understand the sport...but, I'll definitely know his number and you can bet your bottom I'll be watching and rooting for my grandson's number! It's almost like no one else is playing! Only my player!! Mike makes fun of me for this! He has to remind me that I should watch the team...not just the "player"! It was that way with my kids and I'm sure it will be even worse with my Grandkids!! They are amazing! People tell you that but until you really experience it you have NO idea what they are talking about!!
